The following is a list of major projects that we have completed over the past 5 years.

  • 11 January 2007 Fintech is pleased to announce that it has been selected by leading lessor World Star Aviation to complete a pre-purchase audit of 11 Aircraft.  The project requires the assessment of the Aircraft and a review of the associated documentation. The Aircraft are distributed throughout Europe and China.
  • 8 June 2007 Fintech is pleased to announce that it has secured an asset management contract with leading Middle East airline Qatar Airways.  The original contract required that FAS project manage the phase out of Qatar’s A300 passenger fleet however this has now been extended to include additional aircraft throughout 2009. 
  • 3 January 2008 FAS is pleased to announce that it has been retained by the technical department of Jetairfly in order to partake in an internal project. FAS will be required to work on site and in close liaison with all departments within the airline on technical and commercial issues. 
  • 4 January 2008 Fintech is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Frankfurt based lessor Deutsche Structured Finance (DSF) to provide re-delivery services.  The contract covers various aircraft that are being transitioned within Europe.
  • 12 January 2009 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it is has been selected by a Middle Eastern investor to complete a pre-purchase lease audit as part of the company’s due diligence during lease negotiations with a potential lessee.   Fintech successfully completed the Sudan based audit , which comprised of assessing the engineering and flight operations departments, in order to determine the ability of the airline to operate the aircraft safely and in accordance with local and international regulations.  Fintech’s Managing Director, Oliver Stuart-Menteth, notes that more and more leasing companies are requesting pre-lease audits as, apart from being good company practise, there is a move amongst the legal community in certain situations, to use lessors lack of due-diligence to their advantage.   The court case Ellis v AAR is a classic example – more information can be found at  http://www.nolan-law.com/pdf/case-study-AirPhil08.pdf
  • 12 October 2009 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has been selected by leading German financier Hamburger EmissionsHaus GmbH & Cie. KG as Technical Manager of their fleet of Q400 Turbo-props.  The Aircraft are currently on lease to regional carrier Flybe of the United Kingdom.  Oliver Stuart-Menteth, Managing Director of Fintech Aviation Services said “We are delighted that HEH has chosen Fintech in order to provide a cost effective programme that will ultimately protect residual value and ensure marketability of the asset. We look forward to working with them on future transactions.”
  • 4 January 2010 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to confirm that, as part of an impending sale the Company recently completed a survey and maintenance adjusted appraisal of a Gulfstream G450 on behalf of a Middle Eastern investor.  Oliver Stuart-Menteth, Managing Director of Fintech Aviation Services confirmed that the Company’s activities within the business jet market are steadily increasing and that despite the lack of recent trading activity, the large jet segment is beginning to recover.28 June 2010 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to report that the Company managed 12 re-deliveries/deliveries over the past 18 months, on behalf of a variety of clients, involving A300, A320, A330 and B767 Aircraft.   One transaction also required the management of a PW4000 engine through a shop visit in order to comply with delivery conditions.
  • 12 January 2011 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has been selected by leading German financier Hamburger EmissionsHaus GmbH & Cie.   • 9 June 2011 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to confirm the delivery of one A300-600 F to new entrant Silk Road.   Fintech were contracted by Silk Road to provide delivery assistance in Turkey.
  • 6 July 2011 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to confirm that Managing Director Oliver Stuart-Menteth has been certified as a International Business Aircraft Council (IBAC) approved auditor.   The approval now permits Fintech to now offer audit services (aircraft and operations) to the Business Aircraft community.
  • 2 January 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has recently delivered one new Airbus A320 at the Hamburg Delivery center to lessee Chengdu Airlines on behalf of lessor CALC.
  • 1 September 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has recently concluded a delivery project on behalf of Lessor CALC.   The project required Fintech to provide assistance with the delivery of 4 A320 Aircraft to operators within China.
  •  3 February 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has delivered one B737-300 to lessee Air Onyx on behalf of lessor World Star Aviation.
  • 11 January 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by HEH Hamburger EmissionsHaus to manage their recently acquired Embraer E175  which is on lease to UK operator Flybe.
  • 5 March 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that on behalf of lessor ACG Fintech assisted with the delivery of one A320 to Indonesian lessee Citilink.
  • 20 April 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that on behalf of lessor ACG Fintech assisted with the re-delivery of one A320 from Spanish lessee Vueling to a part out company.
  • 16 December 2012 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by HEH Hamburger EmissionsHaus to manage a second E-175.
  • 25 January 2013 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has recently concluded the re-delivery of two B737QC aircraft from Europe AirPost on behalf of lessee ACG. 
  • 6 June 2013 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has recently concluded the re-delivery of one Airbus A320 from Air Berlin on behalf of lessor CALC. 
  • 8 August 2013 Fintech Aviation Services is pleased to announce that it has recently completed a Level 3 appraisal of Alitalia’s fleet of CRJ 900 Aircraft which were being re-marketed at the time.  
  • 1 September 2013 Oliver Stuart-Menteth, MD of Fintech Aviation Services has been selected by leading law firm Bird & Bird to act as an Expert Witness Appraiser in the much anticipated case between Alpstream and GECAS/PK Airfinance.  Bird& Bird represented Alpstream and a summary of the outcome of the case can be located here.
  • During 2014 Fintech Aviation Services developed the Single Aisle Aircraft Value (SAAV) Guide which is the only all encompassing publication devoted to aircraft from the 50 to 220 seat market.  The publication contains values, lease rates, program metrics, specifications and maintenance costs.  Detailed value charts for each popular MTOW and engine variants are detailed.  The SAAV Guide can be purchased through this web site.  
  • In January 2015 Fintech Aviation Services was selected by the Brazilian Export Finance Agency (BNDES) to complete an audit on 8 ERJ 170/190 aircraft domiciled in Europe.  
  • In February 2015 Fintech Aviation Services was selected as an Expert Witness (Appraiser) by a leading Danish law firm in order to complete a maintenance adjusted appraisal and audit of one ex-Cimber Air CRJ 200.  The report was used by the Danish Court in order to assist the Judge with making various rulings on the value of the airframe and engines.   • In March 2015 Fintech Aviation Services was selected by a large mining corporation in Kazakhstan for advice relating to corporate aircraft.
  • In July 2015 Fintech Aviation Services issued Volume 2 of The SAAV Guide, the only value guide to specifically focus on the single aisle market. 
  • In August 2015 Fintech upgraded its portal site permitting clients to access all relevant data relating to their managed aircraft.  Improvements to this portal will continue throughout 2015.
  • From October to March 2016 Fintech was involved in the re-delivery of one A330-300 on behalf of a US customer to a European client. 
  • In July 2016 Fintech completed a desk top appraisal on one ERJ-145 for a European client and issued the latest revision of The SAAV Guide. 
  • In August 2016 Fintech completed a maintenance adjusted desk top appraisal of a fleet of B737-800 aircraft on behalf of a SE Asian customer. 
  • In October 2016 Fintech completed an audit of various E-175/190 aircraft at LOT on behalf of BNDES.
  • In November 2016 Fintech was selected through an RFP process by Nepal Airlines Corporation to complete a Full Appraisal on one B757-200 aircraft.   
  • In December 2016 Fintech was awarded two additional CRJ 1000 aircraft management contracts by owner HEH.
